Lisa’s Pasta with Red Pepper Sauce Ingredients:
6 roasted red peppers, charred skin removed
8 cloves garlic, peeled but whole
3/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper
2 slices of Italian bread, crusts removed
6 leaves of basil
Lisa’s Pasta with Red Pepper Sauce Directions:
Place all ingredients in a blender and purée. You should have a fairly thick, sauce like consistency. If the sauce is too thick, add more olive oil. If the sauce is too thin, add more crustless Italian bread.
Toss on your favorite pasta and top with fresh, chopped basil.
