Lisa’s Espresso Pudding

Espresso Pudding This Espresso Pudding is typical of Northern Italy, where the winters begin early and the snow can be late to thaw. Lisa’s Espresso Pudding Ingredients:

Espresso Pudding

4 cups whole milk

3 large eggs

1 cup sugar

1 cup cocoa powder, unsweetened

1/2 cup espresso

Lisa’s Espresso Pudding Directions:

Pour the milk into a medium saucepan, and heat over medium heat for 3-4 minutes, while whisking in one egg at a time.

Whisk in the sugar, stirring it until it dissolves, followed by the cocoa powder and the espresso.

Pour the mixture into 8 small ramekins or pretty wineglasses. Cover each ramekin or wineglass with plastic wrap and refrigerate for a minimum of 2 hours before serving the pudding.
