These appetizers with figs, goat cheese, and prosciutto, topped with drizzled balsamic vinegar, are the perfect antidote to hungry dinner guests. They’re also a great way to treat yourself and your family after a long day at work. Lisa’s Appetizer with Figs, Goat Cheese, and Prosciutto Ingredients:
10-12 medium sized figs- purple, black, or green, whichever you prefer
6 slices of thinly sliced prosciutto
3 ounces of goat cheese
Balsamic Vinegar OR Balsamic Vinegar reduction glaze
Lisa’s Appetizer with Figs, Goat Cheese, and Prosciutto Directions:
Lightly wash the figs, being careful not to rip the skin. Cut off the stems and slice in half, length wise. Place the figs on a platter.
Place ½ a teaspoon of goat cheese on top of each fig half, followed by a 1 inch by 1 inch square of prosciutto.
Drizzle the Balsamic glaze or Balsamic vinegar over the top. Serve.
